This presentation allowed for an explanation of my observations of the common characteristics between the Alternate Proficiency Assessment (APA) used in the field of special education and the Constructivism Theory.

In my opinion, both provide many of the same positive, effective approaches necessary to foster the successful academic and emotional development of children with special needs.
